How fast is good vacant property selling? (Muskegon, Rockford: for sale, new house)

We have an amazing five acres in Rockford to put on the market and am nervous as to how long it will take to sell? We've been holding on to it for years to build on it but due to work, have to move out of state. I'm so worried about how to get the money we are going to need to buy a new house. We live in Muskegon and also have to sell our house too. Bad times.

I did a quick vacant land search on grar.com, in Rockford school district, there are many vacant land for sale.

Recently someone sold 2.4 acres of land south of Ada for $99,000. 4 years ago they were asking $150,000. This vacant land was down the road from our house.

Theres been vacant land around my house for sale for years...probably all depends on asking price and area.

Its only going to get worse. I have advised many people to drop the price. Todays bad price is tomorrows great one.
