im looking for a cord of firewood to be delivered to my home for a reasonable rate..

Whenever I've bought stuff at that volume, I just check the want-ads in the GR Press. You might try Craigslist too.

reading the classified ads in the local papers are the way to go. Make sure you specify hardwoods.
