Default Pond Hockey/Outdoor Roller Hockey in GR

Does anyone know any places I can play some pick up hockey in Grand Rapids? I'm originally from Port Huron, MI and I've lived in Grand Rapids since August of 2007 and I'm yet to find anywhere to play Pond or Roller Hockey outside. For now I only play when I visit back home on the East side of the state and I'm starting to go into withdrawals

You should go to Patterson Ice Center and ask around.

Walker central park has a really nice outdoor roller hockey rink with full boards. There are usually some pickup games on the weekends, and sometimes weeknights in the summer. If you're looking for an indoor league, I would check out Rivertown Sports in Grandville.

For pond hockey, I use to play at John Ball Park and Richmond Park all the time - not sure if they still get crowds there or not though. I'm not sure if they still allow it, but there used to be pickup games at rosa parks circle late Sat. nights as well.
