Looking to move to GR from Minneapolis (Grand Rapids, Concord: for sale, sublet)

While the job search hasn't been particularly easy, I think things are lining up and my wife and I will be moving to the GR area. We're going to rent a house at first while we get a feel for things. I've found rentals on a few couple property management sites and, of course, Craigslist. Any other resources?

I've been reading up on some of the neighborhood opinions on here (thanks all!) and I kind of have a feeling for where we'll be looking.

Personally, I can't wait to move somewhere with a mild winter

select living.com is a great website that will give you a list of several apartment complexes as well as houses for sale/rent. I use this sight every time i look to rent The lighthouse property management is a good site also. Hopes this helps

I wouldn't say we have a mild winter, but I don't know what Minneapolis is like.

I'm sure you're joking about the winters. Yeah, it's not as cold in GR as MSPL, but the last two winters have stunk as far as snowfall goes. Well over 100 inches both winters and no place to put it.
