I have lived in Grand Rapids Mi. most of my life and other than the snowy winters I love it here. Grand Rapids is a nice area for families, and there are alot of things to do. Not so sure about the job situation right now, I think it is bad everywhere. The Comstock Park area is really nice, good school system and nice neighborhood also. There are parks nearby, shopping, and dining also. It is very close to the highways too. There is a Christian book store close by Comstock Park, its a really nice, big one. You still have some time to look into things I see, you can also look into Forrest Hills, Rockford, which is a little more of a country setting but great schools there too.
