Looks like a smaller (much smaller) version of DEMF/Movement/Whatever-they-call-it-now in Detroit.
Very good idea to have this downtown outdoors... it's the perfect venue for something like that.

Techno was invented in Detroit, so electronic music being played in Grand Rapids should be considered a good thing. It is from Michigan.

I didn't go, but I heard people say that it was the best event they had ever gone to in Grand Rapids (mostly younger people).
That'd be cool if it someday gets like this :

I don't particularily care for the music but it's easy to see the honeys up on stage shakin it are a crowdpleaser. It's cute...kinda like Mardi Gras sponsored by Pat Robertson.

I was there for awhile and was struck by how young the crowd was ... mostly high school. Anyone in college was up there age wise.

Have none of us ever heard of The Detroit Electronic Music Fesitval? It's one of the biggest in the world? 3 days long? Wish I wouldve known about the one in Grand Rapids, I would've been there.
Rave on.
