I don't know why I even post, guess just to vent. My oldest grandgirl is in 3rd yr at Ucla. Her brother is now taking entrance tests and the stress of it all. It was not like this 20 some yrs ago but today, good grief.

I hear so much comments online and radio about children's stress today.

So many people, so so much technology wars and all this stress.

Is it "just the way it is as my daughter says"....

Glad I'm old and keeping healthy. Keeping away from as much stressful stuff as possible.

Let it go. We solved our generations problems at the time and they can solve their own.

I agree. They'll get through this. It will be OK.

Ask yourself if there is anything you can reasonably do about it? If the answer is no, your stress is not going to help you or them.

Be a quiet place where they feel safe venting and talking about their problems. Make sure you tell them that you know they are competent and will survive it. That you are there for them.
