1)Your mom was right that you needed a backup sitter when you were working and relying on individual (ie not group) care. Whether your mom or someone else, people cancel.
2).also 2 year olds do fall down a lot, at least mine did. Also I wouldnt overreact to the refridgerator door thing. 2 is a hard age.
3)You told your mom that your daughter cant be left alone with her again bc the hand got caught in the fridge door? IMO that seems like a bit of an overreaction.

Choosing daycare seems great at this age —but if you suddenly swept your daughter away from your mom mid-day and said she could never watch her again, then yeah, I’d think that is kind of asking for hard feelings from your mom.
