I don't know, I guess that would start a sh*tstorm of its' own. Maybe the ones who have admitted to it or they have absolute proof of. I do think they should be removed as record holders.

It does bother me as well that Pete Rose can apparently never be forgiven, but these guys are okay to be in the hall.

What guys in the HOF are you refering to? To my knowledge nobody currently in the Hall has been directly linked to banned PED's. Pete Rose on the other hand admitted to gambling on games that the Reds were involved in while he was a player AND as a manager. Although he said that he never wagered against the Reds, surely you can see why MLB doesn't quite take his word at face value since he had lied for over 2 decades about the issue.

Had Rose not lied about it for so long, MLB might not have taken such a hard line stance against him all this time. However, since the Black Sox Scandal almost ruined professional baseball for good, MLB has made it clear for almost a century that betting on baseball by any of its employees is an unforgiveable offense. Pete Rose knew this before he started gambling. So while I have empathy for what he's going through as a former great, I wouldn't be too broken up if he doesn't ever get into the HOF.
