Ok, this is kind of far fetched or probing, yet fascinates me to an extent.
from a macro biological perspective, Asian species tend to dominate ecosystems; both native and ones where they are foreignly introduced.
from the snake fish, Asian Carp, asian longhorn beetle, the zebra mussel, to the black rat are all examples of invasive species taking over foreign environments...
even when it comes to humans, Asian derived peoples represent nearly 2/3s of the world's population.
what accounts for this 'Asian hegemony'? Is it that there is hyper competition on the Asian continent relative to others?
