Ethanol rip off . Let me count the ways... Article (opinion) in NYTs (gasoline, regular)

Finally, some real reporting from the NYTs on ethanol. If you believe it is good to make gas,
read the article. I've known about this since the early 2000s and people were and still are deceived
by it. The only thing really missing is how much damage ethanol does to your cars and it does damage them. My motorcycle and mower get regular non-ethanol gas in them or they would die a clogged, quick death.

I suppose my real question is do you think the Opinion piece is true or are you hesitant to believe it? In either case why?

I have known all that stuff for years, but as long as the "farm vote" matters, we will have ethanol in gasoline.

Yep! And yet our government wants 15% in our gas....no matter how bad it is.
