In any event...no, I don't think that the porn industry needs to be regulated, whether we are talking about professionals in that industry or about amateurs.

Spell check with Chrome

What about the gagging and forced rape videos? They jab objects down the throat?

You need to know how to spell on your own, as those Spell Check programs are clearly not very...literate.
If your boss found a major mistake in one of your documents, would you blame it on Spell Check?

I can't respond to that, as I would not watch things of that nature.
I simply don't have a frame of reference, although it certainly sounds...toxic.

Why? You can't just regulate everything. Porn is a thriving industry because it has no regulation

Of course not. It's the twenty first century. The bastard has become a normal everyday thing. So, porn? So what? In fact I propose that all those closed up Red Barn hamburger joints go back to being what they were when Red Barn folded: porno theaters. (ever notice that about 25 - 30 years ago all those closed up Red Barns turned into porno theaters?)

Women always thought that porn degraded them. But, European (and American) porn has rendered the "non-endowed" gay guy unmarriageable. Men (gay, straight, doesn't matter) look at this stuff day in and day out (because they're men of course) and yes, they seek to have to have what they see. That poor gay dude with a niblette. It's hopeless.

I propose that the newest disability status in the US be the gay guy with <5 1/2." He doesn't like girls, and he certainly can't get a man anymore, no matter who he is or what he looks like. Socially disabled for physical reasons. Cut that poor thing a monthly check.

I think porn should be banned from the internet and pornographers who upload the material be sentenced to prison and whipped mercilessly with a cat o' nine tails, but that isn't going to happen. At least China did one thing right (of course they did everything else wrong). And then the problems that come with allowing anyone to have to power to censor anything on the internet. The cost to information freedom is just as bad as the benefit of banning pornography.

What about these comments: This is Rape Culture | Ex-Pornstars on the Porn Industry and on this one, I did not watch the video clip: https://www.shelleylubben.com/shelle...in-porn-abused

Yes, it is a job but as we all know, in many jobs abuses do take place which has brought about regulations which help some. When I was younger, I ended up on an assembly line until I could find a better job. Between the smell of the food and the dizziness that I had, I could hardly stand up. The Lead was afraid I was going to pass out. I couldn't quit because I had a child to support. I get so tired of hearing that someone should just quit their job if they don't like it. So easy when you aren't the one in that position.

I don't know, "UNION"! It is going to get sicker and sicker. So many people are only concerned about their desires and never think how it impacts others.
I repped this comment because I think it is important that you posted some sources. In the end, I am all for more controls in this industry. These women, girls really, should be protected from coercion.

The problem that I have is that even in these quotes, very few of them are accusing rape. When they talk about abuses and negative consequences, they are talking about things that they have willingly, knowingly gotten themselves into. You made the very interesting point that not all jobs are pleasant. I have pain in both shoulders, both knees, my lower back and neck because of the hard physical labor that I have done. Does that now mean that I was abused? Anyone who has worked on a construction site will tell you about the hazing that happens if you can't keep up. Does that mean that I have been "objectified" or treated like a robot? And I sure as hell never made $800 for a couple of hours work.

What about all of the guys who have fallen off of fishing boats? Fallen off of scaffolds? Cut a hand with saw? Shot or stabbed in a law enforcement or security job? Had their bones shaken apart by machinery at a mining job? Became infected with staff infection at a hospital? And on and on and on.

The bottom line is, most of these women are choosing their fate. They are upset because things aren't working out as they wanted. Happens to a lot of us.

So yes, I think that there should be a lot more regulation and control, but ultimately, what we are talking about is the question of whether or not people get to make their own decision. And no, those decisions aren't always going to be the right ones.

Just out of curiosity, since you are female, what did you do on 42nd Street? All I saw there, before Giuliani cleaned it up, was some pathetic looking prostitutes and their customers. Was there a hidden world that I was unable to detect?

I will admit that the wife and I watch it on occasion at home and to say we're mostly disappointed would be an understatement. We've seen some pretty disgusting things where the women were treated so poorly that it's a real turnoff. Gagging, stepping on their heads and several things I won't mention on here. While I hated the porn years ago where they started acting as this was horrible and boring but the new stuff is just plain wrong on many levels.

I once read 17 books on nymphomania in an effort to determine if it had a physical or psychological origin. Always had an interest in sex...and sex statistics.

If it wasn't for herpes and pregnancies, I may have done enough banging to make my own pron videos.

About half of women never get themselves off. In a man, I'd call that lazy or disinterested or lack of healthy T levels. I'd also be referencing a very small percentage of men. In women, I tend to call it lack of interest or drive. I'd also be referencing about half of women.

Let me guess, you know of a couple women who are more sexual than their partner. Therefor, my assertation must be bogus.

This world is ruled by assumptions based on samples of 1-4. That isn't close to being statistically significant.

Your turn...

Some of these problems come with increased population; unemployment; where money is mandatory for survival
Hence crime;prostitution modern day stripping and all of them this time filmed and paid
We live in a decadent age why immorality is the order of the day;Regulation of porn is next to impossible esp with technology and such
One thing;learn to live with it like other similar lifestyles (prostitution/stripping/trafficking) since its part of us;our nature
I believe everyone has a brain in between their ears hence should make good judgements; women who join porn after numerous warnings;thus the women shouldn't be judged;in the same context, it's your body not anyone else hence do to it what you deem fit
Remember choice are binding and have consequences
