So recently the question arose, who should pay for the town relocation? The residents? The state of Alaska? The federal government?
If the state or feds pay for it, it sets a precedent that could end up costing billions potentially. But residents have little to no money to pay for it. Or if one believes the carbon emissions theory, should US businesses be forced to establish a super fund to deal with it?
Any thoughts?
