Yes I would support it. It will never happen though, not in this messed up excuse for a country. I believe that a country that has allowed, the ridiculous numbers of illegals that the USA has. Is a country that is negligent in its duties. Negligent of protecting its borders and its citizens. I believe the neglect is intentional by the US Gov't. No country that cares about itself, would have allowed this to happen. I feel enough with the excuses, and the song and dance about rounding them all up. They need to go back to their homes in huge numbers. Go back and as a group fix their countries, so they don't need to pour into this one. As I said though. It will never ever happen. What will happen is more and more will pour in, to join the newest visitors. The Syrians refugees.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but my townhome complex just had all new roofs put on. Almost all the workers were Latino, and based on their broken English, certainly not born here. I doubt they were illegal, but they were immigrants. Similarly, with one of our landscaping companies in the past, there were quite a few workers who were clearly immigrants with the same description.

Americans used to do lots of construction jobs. To be honest, if I were paying to have a house built from plans, I don't know if I would trust the contractor to be able to read those plans correctly if he didn't speak English all that well.

Op, I know you meant all countries but thought I'd share this about Mexico:
I heard on the news today that for the first time maybe ever? More people from Mexico who live in the US are moving back than are moving here. I think folks need to chill about people from South of the Border. Everyone I've ever known from there was a hard worker and a good soul. There are good and bad from every country. They also said that a poll showed that folks from there say that America is neither better nor worse than their home country.

Going forward, I think America needs to think about who'll take the jobs that currently are taken by immigrants - illegal or not, when conditions in these folks' countries make it more enticing for them to return home.

1) if they are working, that's a job a unemployed American should have.

* don't give me that "doing job Americans don't want to do" , I own a small business landscaping, I have no problem what so ever finding Americans to work for me.

2) what difference does it make if they have families, what kind of scapegoat response is that.
They have family here ,then they should apply for residence and get their family to sponsor them.
Sorry, but every contractor I knew back East said the same thing. Look at their crew. All Latinos. Because they don't want to pay anybody a decent wage and immigrants work for anything.

Nobody steals anybody's job. Its the head of a crew or a boss who decides to pocket some extra money for a job and hire cheap.

Default No

Unfortunately, Trump sounds like some uneducated factory worker, who spends more time working and drinking, than reading and getting an education.

It's an absurd idea to say the least. Easy to propose such nonsense, when you have no ideas on how to benefit the country in every category across the board.

I would instead like to see illegal immigrant criminals deported, and President Obama has been far more successful at doing this than any Conservative president.

One of the reasons the illegals here are going back is because of the trade deals Clinton put through that allows companies here to open factories there. Those are the "enticing conditions" you're referring to. American companies that would have hired Americans are still hiring Hispanics. The only difference is, they're hiring Hispanics there, not here. So Americans are still screwed out of jobs.

I believe Ford is either making or will start, making some of their cars in Mexico. Gives me another reason to never buy another Ford.

Have not been back there for a while but seem to remember driving past a FORD plant north of Mexico City along with a GM plant also.

One plant does not make three or four different models on the same assembly line thus a different plant for a specific model
