If it takes "one drop" to be considered not white, how many drops does it take to be considered white?
In America? As long as it was not known that you had a Black ancestor which made you liable to be someones property. Hence many "whites" can claim Asian heritage like TV's second to last Superman Dean Cain or Keanu Reeves, Many like a Chuck Norris can claim , Native American ( many times the Princess Medicine Man or other tribal royalty for lack of a better term) and/or Latino heritage and remain white as long as their physical features don't scream East Asian..

It's based on what people think you look like. Jimmy Kimmel is viewed as White even though his DNA admixture test revealed him to be 10% Sub-Saharan African and 8% North African. Many White Americans with ancestry dating to North America pre 1700 or those with Southern European ancestry have a few non White ancestors yet are considered White. The key is that it wasn't based upon being other than or not white, it was based upon being not black so you could not be owned. Chattel slavery was the major moral failing other inter-ethnic conflicts and anti Asian bias palled in comparison
It was so a slave owner could assert property rights on that single drop and any child she had

Well that was the basis of American race relations, that's why Turk's are "white" or more precisely not "black " in America versus being an other in Europe

Where did you get that information of Kimmel from? I saw his episode of "finding your roots" and there was no mention whatsoever of any black ancestors. His father's ancestry is German and his mother's ancestry is Italian.
In the future, white people will become the minority. The darker genes are stronger and more prominent than whiter genes. Whenever a white person breeds with a darker person, the offsprings always come out darker than the white parent.
In the future, most people will be mixed with everything, there will be no race or ethnicities anymore

Except that he didn't. It was the Hispanics themselves, who agitated for a separate census classification, most likely to allow statistical data to be collected to allow an assessment of their condition.
They were certainly NOT treated as whites prior to this, and a viewing of the "West Side Story" is indicative of this. Note that Puerto Ricans are among the "whiter looking" major Latino groups in the USA.
