How to Eliminate Welfare?

If welfare is such a great deal why are you, most of the complainers, not on the dole?

Why are the unfortunate living on government programs disparaged and the annuity hippy living off a large inheritance admired. Neither is doing anything useful?

If we really wan to cut welfare we could start with controlling the Military contractors and our insane wars as well as the huge agricultural subsidies to corporate Agriculture and the Ag chemical businesses.

Will some people do nothing if given a basic income sure but they do that now. I have yet to see any evidence that most people will just stop working it is more people's opinion then facts. If you give people just enough to live on it gives them economic freedom. It gives them more chances to go to college or open a business. They do not have to take a bad job or they can quit a bad job if they want. It gives power back to the employee which will help the employer because they will get workers who want to work there and they can keep their wages low and make more money.
