There is a huge industry dedicated to car based transportation, they dictate that the media not cover the huge number of car related deaths in a way that would make people demand real change, things like much safer cars and more public transit to get people who don't like driving off the road. The media is controlled by the super rich and manufactures outrage in a way that protects their wealth.

Cars are much deadlier than guns. According to this "only" 475 people died from gun violence in the US in 2015 and 1,870 were injured:

On the other hand, the coffins on wheels killed 38,300 Americans and injured 4.4 million!!!!:

I don't know why people worry about terrorism. How many Americans were killed because of terrorist attacks? I did not look but I don't even remember if there were true terrorist attacks in the continental US in 2015. If there were, they probably were very small...
