Is it possible my desire for a stepford wife / husband to do chores around the house but not provide sex is unique? It seems many front page stories discuss sex bots, or worker replacements.

Something that could take groceries out of the car and sort them properly in the kitchen and pantry would be great for me. Jane or John doesn't matter. Something better and more universally able to do chores than a Roomba.

How much are you willing to pay for this benefit?

It's gotta be self maintaining, or have a maintenance contract.

@$10/hr under the table... will yield you 7500 to 25000 hours of manual help.
3 or so hours of help per day and even 7 days per week
will yield up to 8333 days of help which adds up to almost 23 years

My states minimum wage is higher than $10 per hour. It goes up every year. Even at $10 8,766 exist in a year (365.25 days per year multiplied by 24 hours in a per day). At a minimum wage of $10 (lower than my state minimum wage), a person working 24 hours per day 7 days per week would have a gross income of $87,660 at least by my calculation.

As no human can work 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, my assumption is multiple people would be needed to provide services. Humans also come with payroll tax costs, which add about 10% to the cost of employing someone. The low end robot (capable of cleaning floors, dusting, picking up grocery bags from a vehicle then sorting and storing, maybe setting up laundry, mowing, raking a lawn and a loading / unloading a dishwasher) would be paid for in under a year. A higher end robot, one capable of cooking, driving, shopping, and providing minor care to the aged, children, or those who are ill (not medical care, just support care) would likely replace higher than minimum wage workers, but even at minimum wage would pay for itself in under 3 years.

A robot? There are already human beings to do that: housekeepers. We don't need robots to take away people's jobs.

Nah, if we are going to have robots, lets not restrict them to factory and warehouse work. People will find other purposes for their lives than the mundane things robots will do. Eventually if they do everything, we can be free to do whatever we please.

Ugh could you imagine having dinner at someone's house and then finding out he washed your dishes in the same dishwasher he washes his fleshlight in.
