So yeah, I believe racism is pretty dangerous more so than bigotry-anyone can be and is highly individualized.

May I recommend some good reads: 1) Slavery by Another Name, By: Douglas Blackmon,
2) The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery and the Making of American Capitalism, By: Edward E. Baptist, 3) The New Jim Crow, By Michelle Alexander, 4) The Blood of Emmett Till: Timothy B. Tyson

So what's your solution to your so called "institutionalized white supremacy"? Should we elect a black president? Should we elect blacks or other people of color/national/religious origin to office? Should we elevate those same elected people to positions of power within their respective government roles? Should we toss open the borders and just let anyone come and go as they wish? How's about making drugs totally legal no matter what they are?

Clearly you see/have issues so what's the solution? What would make you happy?

That's getting to be a cliche.

I love those folks that discriminate against the discriminators too funny
So you're saying that you are the equivalent of a KKK member? Interesting admission. You might want to rethink it. Or not.

And this is an important point, because some people think the only racism or bigoted attitude that matters is something big -- like Jim Crow Laws (as one example). I think the steady drip drip drip of little behaviors that wear people down into thinking that they are less is actually more insidious.

Racism is only dangerous if it's acted upon.

With all due respect to the OP, you're splitting hairs.

Yes, there are differences between the races. Nobody is going to deny that. Black people tend to be better athletes and are less likely to get skin cancer, but more likely to get sickle cell anemia. Great, but when people outside of certain narrow medical fields talk about the "differences between the races," we all know full well where it's going - it'll be a fact-free or "true but misleading" rant about "those people" and "the problem with the black man," and all the usual crap.

Same idea when people claim that "everyone is racist to some level." Yes, scientifically people are more likely to identify with people who look and act similar to themselves. That's fine, but that's not really "racism," and trying to broaden the definition to include that is just a way to justify bigotry. "Oh, we're all racists to some level, so it's OK for me to go to a Klan rally and vote to take away civil rights from minorities." Nope!

And so forth.

Open your eyes man!
Closet bigots is the term I like to use for them, and we all know them. Sure, they aren't out there in Klan gear burning crosses, and they won't use the N-word (at least in public), but get them away from the public eye in some place where they feel at-ease, and the bigotry will surface and they'll blather away about everything from how "Muslims are going to take over and make us all Muslim" to the "gay agenda to make everyone gay," or how "brown people are the problem." It's the same fact-free, bigoted idiocy every time, and while the details vary, the hatred doesn't.

These types are dangerous, perhaps even more so than the open bigots. For example, they are the types who quietly supported Trump in the elections, claiming all sorts of twisted logic to justify their vote, but deep down they are just glad "somebody is doing to do something about those people." They also, as stated, perform quiet acts of bigotry every day, making certain that "those people know their place," and so forth. Disgusting...

You are pointing out of group of "those people" that you think are bigots. It's funny to see your views on "those people". I guess "somebody needs to do something about those people" huh?
