Here's a proposal some of you "debaters" might like:

A Summer Project to Nourish Your Political Soul
David Leonhardt

Pick an issue that you find complicated, and grapple with it.

Choose one on which you’re legitimately torn or harbor secret doubts. Read up on it. Don’t rush to explain away inconvenient evidence.

Then do something truly radical: Consider changing your mind, at least partially.

Doing so will remind you that democracy isn’t simply about political force. It also depends on inquiry and open-mindedness.

From the original source of the article to decipher, and not formulating on your own. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/18/o...ical-soul.html My own particular vantage point is Education to talk further. Order of priority is having to prepare students for the workforce. Especially starting at college minimal. With my own experience, tons of distracting clutter to the real knowledge circle of realistically applicable materials. Why is that a problem to not provide the right curriculum for us? Simple instructions to follow rather than such complex confusing layers of meandering. Maybe easier regarding Architecture college major outside of the heavily cryptic vast maze of Website Developer Computer code. Not anyone’s fault except for the system.

Education

If all our youth had an associate's degree as part of their education it would help get kids out of the bubble they grew up in. It would help them become a better well rounded person with a better understanding of the world around them, not just the world they see through the filter of their parents and the town they soley know.
