Nature has many levels of mutual interdependency that result in a health balance for all, when not f-ed with. Man nearly always says he can do better. But man ultimately has limited knowledge, and cannot synthetically create a human, a tree, etc. When we truly see man's level of knowledge and ability - compared to nature and the universe - we knock our egos down to where the belong. Most unfortunately don't have the guts and integrity to do that.

I agree. I think a level of humbleness and careful and accountable action should be the way to move forward regarding our stewardship of our natural resources. The wonderful thing is that we can look at nature to give us those answers we most desperately need. We need to help increase biodiversity to ensure life is better for all of us.... who wants to live in a sterile environment?

In our technological age we must take a step back and make decisions for long term gain, not nearsighted short term gains.
