Well too many people accept the one drop rule as some sort of true scientifically backed thing when its far from it. Just because something has been done for years doesn't make it right.
Yeah...but why must we continue to promote such nonsense? The media continues to push the notion of "America's First Black President" and nobody says WAIT..that is only part of who he is...he is really America's first Bi-Racial/Person of Color President.
I wonder what would happen if he was bi-racial but instead of looking black, he looked/passed for white. He could still be called "America's First Black President" but nobody would assert that....nonetheless it would apply just as much as it does today.
It really doesnt matter.. since he is not going to win
Sure boss...
It's Obama's election to lose. Nobody really likes McCain. There are very few gun-ho pro-McCain people out there. Most of McCain's support is just people who are die-hard GOP'ers and would even vote for a corpse (no McCain pun intended, lol).
Whether he wins or not is moot....the point is..he is not black anymore than he is white. He looks black, but what if he looked white? Would he then just be yet another white president in the eyes of the media/public?

I dont think its that serious like i said before color does not matter its wheather he gets the job done or not people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!will he be a winner or a loser!?...a success or a failure!?
It's true that the real issue is whether or not Obama can get the job done (I think he can, although after two terms of George Bush, I think anyone can!) The other truth is a lot more unfortunate: there are many people in our great and wonderful country who are going to vote based on racial heritage rather than qualification. No-one will dare say this publicly, although you have to know that McCain is counting on it quite heavily.
LOL Fred that was funny as hell "after two terms or george bush anyone can!"
