So in your opinion, where is the line drawn before it no longer becomes applicable? Using sex to get something; money, or things.

How is that not prostitution by anyone's definition?
Prostitution: Defined by answers.com
n.
  1. The act or practice of engaging in sex acts for hire.
  2. The act or an instance of offering or devoting one's talent to an unworthy use or cause.
If your wife or girlfriend has sex with you in attempt to convince you to do something or get something--that is not prostitution.

If you and your wife or girlfriend agree that you will pay her (hire) for sex, that is prostitution...

These are simple definitions of a vocabulary word--that's all. The word "prostitution" has no more hidden meanings than any other word.

Are you really that hypocritical? Anderw2341, your comments are highly inflamatory. ...

Agreed, no nuance, no hidden meaning; it's very clear. Sex acts for "hire;" IE, the acquisition of things in exchange for sexual acts. Things don't just stop at greenbacks because that's the most commonly prosecuted form of prostitution. Using your interpretation as a guide, a street walker who agrees to give her body to a man for heroin is not a prostitute; no money exchanged hands.

I'm calling a spade a spade without the intent of causing an inflammatory reaction. I'm sorry if you were offended by my description.

I dislike neither blacks or Jews. I don't think you understand what I meant. I merely implied that Jesus was a Jew in accordance with the biblical texts.

What ever an adult does with his or her body is none of my business and my tax money should not go to jailing them

This came up in a convo I was having last night so I will pose the question to all of you, Do you think there are possible unintended repercussions of legalizing prostitution??

I came up with one theory, and it has its flaws but I think there is something to it so here it goes:

Almost all men, since the beginning of time, have originally set out on whatever course in life in order to get laid and procreate. This has led to competition and men have had to enter into careers that offer lots of money in order to provide for a family and thus get a wife and procreate. In our current era it is not all that uncommon to find people who no longer wish to procreate, but still are motivated in order to get laid. But if a man can get laid without any effort other than paying an upfront price, could he lose his motivation to become anything good in his life? Why would a man go through all the hassle and the financial burden of college and possible grad school, in order to get a great career if all he needs to get laid is $50?

The phrase "calling a spade a spade" has nothing to do with race or religion.

At our Brothels in Nevada, the price starts at around $250 and then goes way up. A session could run several thousand dollars.
