If a hooker gets an STD, then wouldn't it be workers compensation?

Good question---I'm not really up to speed on all the worker Comp. Laws. But I can see where Stds, and carpet burn could be considered. With the understanding that prostitution would be legal, and as long as they are paying all their taxes. "job related injuries"

women have nothing except their bodies to sell, it's the most primitive way to make a living, so it's not shameful, but the society should be questioned. women should be protected in any society, right?

Some folks weren't cut out for calculus. Why deny them the right to try and make a living on the skill set they were blessed with.

Prostitution, I feel, is the most honest of sexual encounters. Everything is out there in the open. No fake, "I really like you" type behavior necessary. No flowers, or expensive dinners, to only be left at the door. Ya get just what you pay for.

You would also see an increase in babies being born from this route, which means more children being raised by one parent, or perhaps increased abortions. Sex is a wonderful gift from God that I don't believe is for sale.

Let's narrow down this statement to understand why we live in a religious theocracy hence governing America from the church pulpit even for those who do not follow that faith. "First and foremost I think it's immoral."

Guys, the rest is a straw man, look at the rural Nevada brothels for proof of lower crime, drugs, and also lower STDs. The opposite of what is proposed here happens simply because someone is keeping an eye on it versus simply making it criminal and thus making those involved have to practice in shady ways and in shady places. It makes it a vehicle for drugs, crime, stds, etc.

Truth, you want to force your faith down our throats. I thought we founded this country FOR religious freedom. Yeah right. It is no better than a Muslim country in that sense.
