Funny I never hear any of these complains from anyone else. It's always you, and you complain about the same thing like you're a robot. But okay. Whatever helps you sleep better.

That's funny. I take it you are 35 or younger? You read that way , especially with your wrong assumptions about me and the past. You judge based on history books and hearsay; I judge based on actual experience and the facts..

Example? Pollution. Worse than ever.

I think America had it's issues.. really corporations raping our country and strangling the middle class while making us believe it's all poor peoples fault.

the media - they are only owned by 5 major corporations. They won't tell us news that hurts them.. so they don't.

But there was some hope.. now, with President elect asshat about to take office next month.. the slow decline will be accelerated..

We're doomed.

So much pessimism in this thread!

Of course, there are some trends that should concern all of us; particularly income inequality as it affects the middle class, which is shrinking due to the nation's wealth being more concentrated at the top.

But what never ceases to amuse me is all of the white guys in this forum who gripe incessantly about how hard we've got it. That's largely the result of two decades of hate radio telling them that America sucks and it's all their neighbors' fault. It's total baloney, but it sells well with malcontents.

I've been to and worked in 3rd world countries. I thank my lucky stars that by mere accident of birth that I'm an American white male. These whiny gripers should too. They may not want to acknowledge it, but they've won this planet's birthright lottery.

if liberals thought America was so great 8 years ago, why did they run on the 'hope and change' theme. Why did Michelle Obama say the first time she was proud of this country is when her husband won in 2008? Why did Obama talk about transforming this country. To transform means to radically change. liberals are malcontents about everything but now they try to paint conservatives as complainers.

there are record people out of the workforce and record people living in poverty. there is crime and terrorism, and other issues. It is not negative to acknowledge there are problems.

i never heard any conservatives talking about going back in time. we want to make the present and future better.

in the post above, you see how liberals make everything about race and like to beat up on white males.

President-elect asshat indeed changes the complexion of things considerably. It's getting harder and harder to find reasons to believe that this is going to work out well.

By the way, like about 95 million people, I am not in the labor force. And like about 90 million of those, I do not want a job either.
