Usually when people want to debate, they go to the debate forum. Maybe you should leave.

I'll take that as a "I have no real facts to back up my stance, I'm just regurgitating government propaganda."

By your "status," I assume you are a Christian man, believing that all men are born free and equal. Well if everything thats illegal is wrong, I suppose you would have also been against freeing the slaves, women's rights, gay rights, black rights, and would have supported the death penalty, right?

Just because it is (or at one time was) illegal, does not mean it is just. 60 years ago there was some douchebag like you talking about how its "just not right" for black students to go to school with white kids. Learn to think for yourself. People like you are the reason why the United States is on the verge of collapse. Just continue to let the government spoon-feed you, and never question what they do. Thats how our society gets better...

LOL, not against anyone of them, and I'm female. LOL you jump from drugs to Christian to being free. LOL

Drugs have nothing to do with women's rights, gay rights, black rights, or any right that you posted.

I thought we settled this debate like a month ago, what are we still arguing about. The only reason it is not legal is because the fda cannot find any good use for it, so it must be banned due to its potential for abuse and all that jazz. But alcohol would fall under a lot of the same problems attached to weed, but alcohol is somehow legal. If we can legalize alcohol there is no reason we cannot legalize weed, it just needs to become more socially accepted by those with power. Legalization will have to start in lower levels, like county or what not, then work its way up to cities, then state, then eventually we get federal level.

I hear ya, there really isn't much to debate about, one person can say it should be legal and give a bunch of reasons why but there isn't really proof it would do any of those things, take for example it will keep drugs out of the hands of children, thats a far stretch, if anything it will make it easier to get them and then legalizing a drug and use the money to discourage kids from using seems kinda strange to me if it's legal that would encourage them to use them.
I think there is much more research to do before the facts are in on legalizing weed. example testing to see if a person is under the influance or that they smoked it a week ago, stuff like that.

You clearly do not understand. My point is that because there is a law saying something is illegal, doesn't mean it is right. History shows us that with the examples I gave. If you're not going to be able to think objectively, just go away.
