One of the reasons that this has come back into play is there was a man in my city that killed a couple of people in a church. He said he wanted to open fire and kill them all.
The reason? He didn't have a job, they were stopping his food stamps and he blamed the liberals. He felt they were ruining the country. This happened this past summer.
In his apartment they found books like Hannity’s “Let Freedom Ring,” as well as “Liberalism Is a Mental Health Disorder” by Michael Savage, and “The O’Reilly Factor” by Bill O’Reilly.
The right-wingers love to whine about the "Mainstream Media" while they spew hate on their own media crusade and that is okay with them. This has been their tactic for a few decades. Point the finger at someone else while doing the same thing that they are complaining about.
I remember when, at the end of the local news, the station manager would give an editorial. The next day, someone would come on and give their opinion.
We need to go back to that. If someone is going to get on the airwaves and spew hate and lies, there needs to be equal time to address these accusations. For some people, this stuff is taken at face value. How many people still think that Barack Obama was born in Kenya?

I assume then that you'll make room for my blow-viating Secular Eco-Libertarian perspective for 10 minutes every night following the Alphabet Evening News (AENs) presentations that are so wildly anti-Republican (which, BTW, I'm NOT), so obviously Bush-bashing, so anti-Iraq, and so pro-entitlement program, etc.? Yes? Guaranteed air time for me?
Not that I'm for or against anything to do with those topics, but I can sure easily tell where the AENs stand. Can't you? Is that fair?
Let's face it: the left wing just can't stand that there's now an effective foil for their past biased reports, their clever little purposeful voice inflections and their re-distributionist class-envy-generating and race-baiting rhetoric.
Q1: Why was The Rev. Jesse Jackson crying at Obama's election acceptance speech? You don't know?
Q2: Why is the most egregious WKB* type, Chuck Schummer, heading up the effort to reinstate the odious Fairness Doctrine? Again, you don't know? Is it because he's always been such a champion of independant sceptical thinking, of Constitutional rights? And that he likens conservative AM talk radio to pornography? That where his real concerns lay?

Suffice it to say that it is easy to identify someone who has just the right mixture of education and good sense here on this board. Next year the government may have outlawed posts like yours though.
I keep hearing liberals talk about hate being "spewed" from right wing programs. Can you perhaps enlighten me to what this might be? My guess is that opinions that differ from yours are considered hate in your eyes, like enforcing immigration laws, fighting people who want to kill us, and punishing criminals instead of "rehabilitation."
And of course you failed to mention that those three were only a few out of hundreds of books they found in his apartment, some conservative, some liberal, and some non-political. Bill Moyers is one of the most biased liberal broadcasters in the country too, so I'm sure all the facts were presented in his story, including the ones that discredit the liberal bias, right? If that's where you're getting your opinions, that explains a lot.

Really about the only hate I have seen is spewed through left wing outlets like MSNBC, Air America, and the Daily Kos. But it's OK for liberals to ignore that, then try to fabricate lies about conservative broadcasts and say we are pointing the finger by opposing your fascist bill which is in fact trying to do the same thing you say that conservatives are doing.
But then again hypocrisy is one of the tenets of liberalism.

There is, however, left-leaning stations like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS and NBC. Also the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times.
And if you look at some of the "reporting" on those news outlets, you will see what the REAL "faux" ones are!
