It's cost Canada (and thus Canadian taxpayers) billions to maintain French as a second official language. All it does is pacify the ever-militant whining immature Quebecois, whose contribution to Canadian unity and viability has been minimal. In fact, they have mostly dealt Canucks a lot of grief and dis-unity. Not to mention vast disrespect from other nations (well, except France, but who wants respect from them, mon dieu!)

Up there, you can learn some conversational French by spinning the cereal box, and learning how to day such useful phrases as "Free Inside! A Neat Toy!"

The people who were here first didn't speak English. The first Europeans here didn't speak English. WTF? Why should English get some preferential treatment.
