I know I'm late, but I'd like to wish all a happy Irish American Heritage Month!

Why not just do one big Mutt Month, and everyone can celebrate anything they have in them.

What if they just had something called "White heritage month". It would get called racist immediately....

people will get over it. if we make one giant holiday that everyone gets to call by a different name dependent upon what heritage they claim, maybe we can avoid disaster.

Oh sure --- Irish heritage month is in March. Am I supposed to believe that is a coincidance that St Pats Day is also in March? And what happens on St Pats Day? Everyone gets sh*tfaced on green beer. Talk about perpetrating ethnic stereotypes! I resemble that remark, er -- I mean I am insulted!! On behalf of my Irish/Czech/Scots/Korean/Norwegian/Dane etc.etc. etc. ancestors.

I'm not Irish (well, a great-great-great-grandmother was. . . obviously too far up the lineage to really count) but I'm sure grateful for all the Fightin' Irish that helped build America. And I'm happy to celebrate their day.
