The answer is in another box, attached to a quantum entangled atom. The correct answer will be revealed by Tweety Bird, who has a shotgun aimed at the cat box and a fan behind it. In Toontown, anything is possible, especially if:
A. The box has ACME written on it
B. Elmer Fudd is involved
C. There is gratuitous violence
D. There is incest or cross-species miscegenation

Shrödinger didn't need to go to all the trouble of setting up this PETA disturbing scene where a cat could be killed. All he needed was a scientist, a French Chef, a Buddhist priest, a philosopher, a souffle in an oven, and a paper bag.

The scientist blows up the bag with a Big Bang.
The French Chef, being Catholic, exclaims "Mon Dieu!"
The Buddhist priest sits calmly and says "It was nothing"
The philosopher trys to debate which came first, the egg or the souffle.

After the event, you have to guess whether the souffle is:
A. expanding and has dark energy
B. has fallen into a black hole
C is in another universe
D. exists at all
E. has reverted back into a chicken from a previous life.
F. has gone to he11
G. has evolved into a cat

Well, OK, but if the original scenario was disturbing to PETA, how will they react if choice "G" turns out to be the correct answer? A cat souffle!

(Sacre bleu! But I did not order ze cat souffle.)

I guess it has something to do with the uncertainty principle and whether or not observation affects the outcome.
