why do hotdogs come in packages of 8 but hot dog buns come in packages of 10???

it takes a lot to f up a hot dog even if it's burned a little it is still good. But when you try to warm up a hot dog bun those can easily get burnt so you have to toss em when it happens which is usually the case.

edit: oh and then you have those instances where the bun detaches so you have to get another.

so you're telling me I have to deal with an un-even ratio of hot dogs to buns because some people cant help breaking or burning the buns??? What about us who eat the bun whether its broken or burnt... WHAT ABOUT US ...
