Would you rather be cremated or buried?
If cremated....what do you want done with your ashes?

Definitely not buried, its a waste of real estate. Plus they put all that stuff in your body so you don't decompose and whatnot. Id rather my body became nothing more than dust and air than be a body in a box in a hole.

As for what to do with the ashes it would depend where I met my demise, but I would probably just say the nearest river. Let the water carry me all the way back to the big blue.

Buried...both my parents are getting cremated and one lives almost 1,000 miles away and when all the kids requested that he amend things to wait until after we see him for cremation, he refused...

I want to blown up on a bed of dynamite right after the ceremony. I'll finally let my wife get the last word, then she can push the detonator.

What about the third choice, “crypt cremation.” The body is placed in an above ground crypt to decay at nature’s rate rather than being consumed by flames. Within a couple of years only a few bone fragments small amount of decayed cloth remain. The remnants are then placed in a pit beneath the crypt for eternity, to make room for the next occupant. This is a common practice in New Orleans, among other places.

I don't want any viable DNA left behind.

In some distant future, when tyrants need slave labor that can live for 1,000 years, I don't want to be sitting there in a bar-coded vial waiting to be reconstituted.
