Seeing how as yet not one single person has touched my argument, I'd have to say my appeal is the force of my argument.

If I'm a nutcase, my OP in the abortion thread should be rather easy to disprove. Isn't that right?

You don't really win the debate unless you change someone's mind, unless you are referring to, collegiate debates, or such. But a real debate, professional, literary, between people of like intelligence on an educated mature level, to win the debate, you would ultimately, have to change their mind, otherwise, you haven't really won the debate. They have forfeited, or just given up. So, you have really, done, neither. To do one, you have to do both.

I've won the debate because I HAVE changed hearts and minds. I've done it through logic. I would bet most of the liberals in here have never heard a scientific proof until now that the life of an organism positively begins at conception. I'll bet few of them have realized all of life's processes are merely stages in development, and that nothing "magic" happens after conception that suddenly confers "life".

But we won't know that this transformation has taken place. Why not? Well, first, the loud liberals would never admit to being changed, even if they had been. And of the normal people out there who had an open mind and now agree with me, most are still cowed by the "herd mentality". They don't want to offend the large loud group of pro-abortion folks and risk "not being accepted". So they just clam up. It takes a lot of courage to publicly side with a rebel. Even if that rebel is 100% right. Look at Jesus Christ. Even some of his closest followers publicly denied him at the end so as not to cross the irrational mob. The rest stayed silent.

So I am confident I have gotten some people to rethink their whole position.
