I honestly have no urge whats so ever to have a kid. The thought has never ever crossed my mind. When I see a kid I feel nothing while people gush over them.

To enter into the ultimate holy bond with one another?

I think people should have kids only if they want them. There should be no feeling of obligation or guilt for people who don't want children. If the human species is facing extinction like some movies - perhaps people could change their mind.

But I suggest that a human life is not complete until you have conceived a child and participated in their development to adulthood. No matter how much good you might do in life in other noble ways - you do not know what it is like to bring another human into the world and bear responsibility for raising him or her.

What if a person cannot conceive or they have no urge to have children. Their lives are never complete?
