Boy, we sure are excluding a lot of the U.S. here, aren't we? 'Americans' are just basically white, then? Guess I need my glasses checked.
You took this point out of context. The pride and privileging of Whitenss is an inherent part of the U.S.. That is why it is redundant to verbally express pride in being White.
There is only ONE race on this planet. The human race - Homo sapiens. I get tired of this crap about different races that have nothing to do with anything except the color of someone's skin. Everyone on this planet is from the same race, the sooner everyone understands that fact, the better off we'll all be.
I'm proud to be white. Well, I'm not exactly white, I have some freckles, and sometimes I look more redish than white because I can't take the heat and my skin doesn't tan. I also have a spot on my arm that has no pigmentation and it's definitely pink. Actually my coloring isn't good at all.
I don't like any racial pride. It's stupid. People just use it as an excuse to claim that they are better than others. White pride, black pride, asian pride, hispanic pride, and any other pride has to go!
