Yeah 9 times out of 10 you would be right, but don't they just look cool.

Cars, in my opinion, are unnecessary. You have two good legs--use them.

The measure of success is how content you are with what you have. If you can be content, then you're obviously successful. If you're only interested in flying higher, sometime your wings of wax will melt, Icarus.

I went to Lowe's the morning and got a bunch of cedar deck material. It would have been pretty tough to carry all that stuff - not to mention that Lowe's is about 3 miles from my house.

On the other hand, I drove a 12-year old VW Golf with about 350,000 miles on it - contentedly listening to Chicago - so that's good!

Not only ask the above but being the male chauvinist that I am I also go with "I wonder who they are sleeping with " when you see some young person driving an expensive luxury car.

Disclaimer: This applies to both sexes equally.

Eh, you have the rest of your life to do it. Carry a few planks at a time over your shoulder. That's how I carried my 4"x4"s home.

The average millionaire in the US, lives in a modest cookie cutter type home and drives a 5-7 year old car. The average millionaire does not flash their money. It's only the media that hypes the hollywood types that make us believe they all live like Columbian drug lords, lol. Most are modest, hard working people who invested wisely and worked hard and hope to leave something for their children. Forbes did a 5 year study on this very topic and this was their conclusion.

I'm retired. I'm 58. I have no debts. I live in a 1850 sq ft home with a current market value of about $260,000. I've lived here for 20 years. I drive a 2000 Chrysler Sebring convertible. My wife drives a 2002 Buick Rondevous. This summer I rebuilt my backyard--I spent about $6,000 in materials. I didn't hire a builder because I think it is stupid to hire people to do things that I can do for myself.

By the way, I have about $7.7 mil in the bank. I draw about $100,000 a year for my "pension."
