I would posit that you had an agenda in preparing the BBQ ribs.

Oh good lord, do you honestly think that was her first favorite meal prepared? Do you think the people who like eating meat should stop eating it because there are people around who do not eat meat? Give me a break! I prepared two different meals one for her and one for the rest of us.

But you knew she would take to the BBQ ribs. You knew what you were doing.

Um no, I made many meals that she liked before she went vegetarian, it is not my fault I cook good meals, but I will not stop cooking things WE like because she decided to go another way. If she wanted to stop eating meat, that is her choice. So us eating meat is our choice, so why should I stop cooking things the rest of us like because of her choice?

And, where do you get off trying to tell a parent that they were a "negative" influence on THEIR child???

Belinda - Goodsavethequeens sounds a bit hostile. The way you choose to live is your business.

Then it's clear you did not support her decision. You turned her into an outcast in her own home because she chose to abstain from meat. Is that what you're saying? Is that how you treated your own child?

I am not hostile. I just do not appreciate the way she manipulated her daughter into consuming the BBQ ribs.
