And he has taken full advantage of exercising that right to state his opinions. But now all the crap he has talked about players in the NFL is going to bite him in the ass. THe commisioner, the owners, and the players don't want him in their league. Sorry Rush but your fat mouth has finally screwed you big boy. I guess Karma really does exist!!!!!!!!!

He did kill dogs! It was all intentional and he was only upset because he got caught. Did his time and got an offer to play with the Eagles and now ******* about play time. Kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rush is a successful business man who is very credible and loves sports. Why not give him a chance, as he has never commented a crime.
Come on now Goodell, your OK with Vick, but not Rush???????????????????????????????????????????

Again please take the Rush love blinders off!!! Goodell holds owners to a higher standard then players.

I mean, let’s face it, we didn’t have slavery in this country for over 100 years because it was a bad thing. Quite the opposite: slavery built the South. I’m not saying we should bring it back; I’m just saying it had its merits. For one thing, the streets were safer after dark.

You know who deserves a posthumous Medal of Honor? James Earl Ray [the confessed assassin of Martin Luther King]. We miss you, James. Godspeed.

Have you ever noticed how all composite pictures of wanted criminals resemble Jesse Jackson?

The NAACP should have riot rehearsal. They should get a liquor store and practice robberies.

Take that bone out of your nose and call me back(to an African American female caller).
This is not someone who you want to be in business with - especially when the majority of your employees are black and unionized.

But we want Obama as a president who has no clue or we hire Micheal Vick who is a felon???
Rush is a perfect owner who is a sports guy and wants to win.

Lets pretend for one second that life isn't a cable news talk show or a message board. Step into the world of business.

You're telling me that you would want a person as polarizing as Rush Limbaugh involved in your franchise that employs 65% blacks and the union can basically shut down the entire league. That's crazy! Why would you ad risk to your investment?

I just gave you a few reasons why the other owners is vote against Rush.

All of the owners want to win and most of them are "sports guys". and?

Also, do me a favor and reread your first sentence. That the heck was that?

The NFL functions like a club. They have their own rules and their public image is very important to them. It isn't about what Rush is legally entitled to. This is the reason the new commissioner has punished players in ways the previous one didn't. That is proof the NFL is even more stringent upon representing a certain image. They might find Limbaugh to represent ideals that doesn't fit within the NFL's goals. For that reason they can fail to approve of an ownership group that contains Rush Limbaugh. Time will tell. It depends on a lot of factors namely how the other owners feel and how the players and fans feel about this issue.

Let freedom ring? Oh Lordy

Freedom of speech. Freedom to purchase a home in a certain neighborhood.....Freedom to purchase a team if you have the money.

Funny how freedom should work those we agree or disagree with.

Rush Limbaugh, who is merely a radio talk show host and not a hate monger, wants to invest in a failing NFL franchise that is on the brink of relocation, and all of the sudden it's armageddon.

We had a discussion on the STL Board about this. What is amazing is that these so-called "hardcore" Rams fans would rather put their pathetic liberal politics ahead of a bona fide chance of not only keeping the Rams in STL, but also giving them a cash inlfux to make them somewhat competitive? Right now, I don't think the Rams could beat a high school team...

How would St. Louis residents feel about Rush Limbaugh owning the Rams?

BINGO!!!!!!!

IT'S POLITICS!! They are trying to use "race". But it's not that.
