Your info is incorrect. The U.S. of A produces and distributes the most porn worldwide. It is the global leader in the pornography industry. Next, India produces the most pornographic movies but they are not distributed widely to the american market. Then, it's japan. After that, it's european countries.
I don't know how you thought you would get away with such horsecrap info. even more ridiculous is your mention of korea since thier pornography is not even on the radar.
Besides all that, asians are not seen as desirable by any western nation anymore than another race or minority. as a matter of fact, they are considered the least attractive, to not realize this is to be rather ignorant of the society you live in, obviously.
The only thing "asian" is japanese pop culture that has influenced america to some extent.
the oversexualization that some westerners perceive regarding asian females especially has historical roots in western countries relationship to asians and what they were familiar with. most warbrides that were asian brought over to western countries were either of lowerclass or even whores, this has continued pretty much to this day. the other aspect is many american veterans who were in asia during vietnam and korean wars, frequented prostitutes.

By and large, I do not find Asian women particularly attractive. The vast majority of Asian women are extremely petite with under-developed bodies, particularly when compared to Black, Latina or in some cases white women.
From my own personal observations, white men (mostly Jewish, geeks and those between the ages 19-30 year olds) seem to be the only race of men who seem to have this unhealthy "obsession" for Asian women.
Why are there no Top Asian movie stars? Because, despite the large amount of Asian/white intermarriage and dating, Asian women in particular and Asians in general are still looked upon as "foreigners" by most Americans. IMHO.

I find typical Asian women to be quite attractive. I don't see what that has to do with celebrity, though.
Is there supposed to be a correlation? I can go to work and pick out 50 pretty women of many racial makeups. None of them are celebrities.
But this doesn't explain why Asian women are underrepresented in mainstream American film/tv but they are overly represented in the porn industry, for example.
Why are they not considered for roles in films in which the character's racial background is unspecified/unimportant. Why haven't Asian women, who are considered by some, to be THE most desireable of all groups of women. Other races of women are represented in the Top Actress/Sexiest Actress/Top Paid Actress/etc catergories pretty much along with their representative demographics in America - why aren't Asian women represented?
