the operative phrase being "they're not hurting anyone". as for the reasons why someone would go to a pro, it's none of my business nor do i care.

Between the past Prohibition, the opposition to legalizing prostitution, the "War on Drugs", the anti-choice movement, and the anti-porn movement, among other things, not only do I believe such "morality" (used loosly) laws are a matter of pure control and forcing religious opinion on the populace, I'm begining to think that much of it stems from Christians thinking, perhaps, that they are unable to control themselves and must rely on secular laws to make themselves behave.

Let's face it, the vast majority of people who drink, smoke pot, get abortions, supply both the legal and illegal porn industry with billions a year, and frequent prostitutes are, indeed, Christians.

the People who support these prohibitions are often the same People that supported "Blue Laws," which forbid Stores, to be open on Sunday. Religion should be between a Man and his God. Leave me out of YOUR religion. I have my own.

I can also buy a used car and exchange drugs for the automobile. That should not be an argument that the buying and selling of cars ought to be illegal.

The NFL isn't just football. It also involves drugs and violence.

Exactly, and there are already laws against those things.

Are you saying that anti-prostitution, and anti drug laws stops either one? Maybe I'm missing something. Both seem to be on the rise around here.

You have to realize that underground cultures feed off of one another.

No where where prostitution is llegal will you find violence, drugs, or STD's in the trade.

One find those concerns now in areas where it is illegal, because it IS illegal.

Sorry, but I just don't see any indicators that laws do anything, but force the prices to rise. More danger, higher prices. Just basic economics. We keep building Prisons at a faster rate than collages. I don't do dope, nor visit Prostitutes, so am immune to it all.
