Any person who has ever been a porn star, a waitress, a cab driver, a pizza deliverer, can go on from there to whatever they have the potential to do later in life. There is nothing to stop a middle-aged porn star from going on to become a waitress, in which case she will be just as far ahead as a middle-aged waitress who started out as a waitress.
Mary Cary, whose first picture was only one year before the 2003 election, received over 10,000 votes for governor of California. There are no doubt many porn stars, exotic dancers, call girls, etc. who have the wherewithal to go on to whatever career they are deserving of on their own merits.
Right but I was going on the assumption of the person being able to maintain the temporary high income for the long term. Many porn stars have gone into other realms of the buisness or started their own in the adult entertainment field, if you will LOL.
Sorry I have a sis-n-law I have grown to dislike because she is a greedy money grubbing player and her daughter is a stripper. I can't imagine how I'd handle it if my 2 daughters ever told me that's what they aspired to be in life.

Very few people actually become what they aspire to be in life. You probably have no idea what the daughter ever aspired to be in life, but she's not on welfare and apparently did not marry a sociopath, and doesn't have squawling brats in daycare, so so far, she is way ahead of the pack. Very few successful 40-year-olds are doing that they thought they would be doing what they aspired to do when they enrolled as college freshmen.
What do you think is the best and the worst that can happen to a daughter reared by a greedy money grubbing player, and where does stripping rank on that scale?
Those of us on this forum are nearly all bright, literate, successful people with the talent and skills and opportunity and wherewithal to make something of our lives, with a bit of luck thrown in to get ourselves where we are. And this is just another thread where we can all gang up together and blame everyone beneath us for the ills of society. If everybody was as great as you demand that they be, you'd be barely average yourself, and I doubt if that is where you'd rather be. The only negative effect strippers have on your life is to flutter your indignant self-righteousness.
Yeah, the women lose all dignity in order to make 200k a year. I wonder what happens when they get old and ugly--that is, if they make it to old age. Most of them probably don't.

Porn Stars don't last long in the industry. Once they are full, they are often discarded.
The same is true of professional athletes, whom we lionize. A baseball player who spends 2 or 3 years in the majors as a utility player (i.e, most of them), will get less take-home pay in his baseball career than a WalMart greeter will make in a lifetime. And has done nothing in his life to prepare himself for a later career.

Don't hold your breath for a successful woman to pick up after you. Given your tract record of two marriages/divorces, unsuccessful women don't seem to be interested in the job either lol.
