NASA is probably the only Government institution that is net money maker.
shutting it down would be like spending $100 to save a nickel.

Innovation
That is like saying, "you have a big cut on your arm, and are bleeding profusely, but the stitches are expensive, so you should just keep bleeding". ---Put NASA in Moth Balls till it serves a profitable purpose. If what they do is so valuable to us, then why does it cost us tax Dollars??. they should be self maintaining. but they know that they don't have to turn a profit, so live high on the hog. and use catch phrases like--"It is Man Nature to Explore" Well go explore, take a long walk, Climb a Mountain. Just don't ask the tax payers to pay for your little fantasies.

I've read this whole thread and have to say there are at least three people that have not bothered to read the rules of this forum. Name calling, bullying, etc. does not seem like the proper rules of debate to me.

I thought you just said you have no argument... This quote sure looks like you're presenting an argument.

NASA is one of the very, very few things on which our federal government doesn't waste our money. Have you ever even bothered to look up what some of the scientific and industrial accomplishments that have happened because of NASA? Wait - don't answer that - I already know that you haven't.

That's glaringly obvious, in light of this thread.
