1--Created hundreds if not thousands of game preserves.
2--Helped bring back once endangered or nearly extinct species.
3--Created forest fires, which have been proven time and again to actually spawn new and healthy growth in forests. (Mother nature also does this with lightening strikes.)
4--Inahbited the planet with millions of people who care about it and will use their huge brains (at least as compared with other dumb animals) to protect the planet and help it thrive.
5--Sent out SETI signals which someday might be answered by ET's with vast resources and smarts and ideas that will help us make the planet even better and stronger!
(OK..the last one is a bit of a stretch but I think I made my point, here.) BTW--go look up the word "misogynist.")
Peace.
1--Created hundreds if not thousands of game preserves.
That were only needed because we took over the environment & killed off the natural populations of many animals.

That were mostly endangered because of us. Extinction is a natural occurance & one we couldn't stop if we werent the cause.

I'll almost give you that one but the fact is the fires we cause dont really make up for the ones we prevent.

LOL, thats funny, what we use our big brains for are things to make us comfy cozy first & we toss the environment a bone ocasionally. If we really wanted to help the planet, given our current understanding of how the earth works we would cut off the power tomorrow.
But I guess as long as we feel like we are doing something all is grand eh?
1--Created hundreds if not thousands of game preserves.
Also created the need for game preserves in the first place

Once again endangered because of humans in the first place

We put out more fires than we start, and have made crazy huge wildfires that burn too hot to allow seeds to survive possible because of our land management policies

Yea, I'm sure that's exactly what the Native Americans were thinking when Columbus sailed into town, too. It's should be: Announced our existence to the galaxy while technologicaly primitive and completely helpless to other superior extraterrestrial intelligent life without so much as a clue as to their intentions.
Pretty funny. Mankind did create the internet so that people can complain on it, uh oh but I am typing which is creating heat which in turn is creating global warming which then melts the ice caps increasing the ocean water levels while decreasing land mass and forces wildlife out of their nature inhabitance which then contributes to in-breeding. We can't win
What a self-aggrandizing, arrogant notion that man can actually harm a planet. The planet is going to be fine. The planet will continue to spin around regardless of whether it is inhabited.
In the '70s, there was a huge push for grocery stores to start using plastic bags to save trees. The evolution of arrogant stupidity moves on.

There is an argument that man could blow the planet to smithereens. But, then it would just become a cluster of perfectly happy asteroids putt-putting around the sun.
The people who think the well-being of the Universe depends on humans are the same people who believe that the well-being of the Earth depends on Christians or Americans.
