I did and the profile is so far off you wouldn't even know it was me....LOL
Do you think that's the end of things? Don't be naive. Companies like Spokeo will continue to data mine, and your information will become more accurate over time. Are you comfortable with that? If not, do yourself a favor and remove your listing.
Mark Brooks wants the whole Web to know that he spent $41 on an iPad case at an Apple store, $24 eating at an Applebee’s, and $6,450 at a Florida plastic surgery clinic for nose work.
Not surprisingly, it has recently come to light that a simple Google search revealed Blippy members' credit card numbers, along with their full names and addresses, which is an absolutely breath-taking lapse in security. Oops!

I'm in the phone book.... the printed one too.... It doesn't bother me....
Someone was able to find me once thru the internet and I was glad that they were able to...I had inherited some money and they couldn't find me... thank goodness for the internet....
I hope you still feel that way when at some point in the future you realize that you are no longer in control of the information the world has about you and the legal system is powerless to help. Even the companies developing these sites are ignorant of the long-term consequences, and it's not like they could put the genie back in the bottle even if they wanted to do so. I'm glad you got your inheritance. Hope it was worth it.

In order to drive a car, I am required to carry a document that states my name and my place of residence. That, in America, is none of anybody's business. I can live where I please, and I can move when I want, and it should not be necessary to report that fact to any governmental agency.
A driver's license was established only to assure that drivers have demonstrated minimum proficiency in driving skills so as to not overly endanger the general public. All I should need to fulfill that requirement is a certificate that I have been deemed a competent driver. Who I am and where I live has no effect on my qualifications to drive an automobile safely, and accordingly, is not the business of anyone who needs to know if I am competent.
My doctor has a certificate on his wall that states that he is licensed to practice medicine. Similarly, my pharmacist, my barber, my lawyer, my dentist's assistant. His address is not on there, nor is his photograph. Why does my address need to be on my drivers license, and I'm even subject to a fine if I don't notify the state in a timely manner that my address changed.
But without that information, how would the state or a traffic officer know if you were the person certified to drive? A certificate with no identifying information is worthless.
Thanks. I just removed both of us from their listing.
