May be not exactly the water shed story you are expecting?

MOnsanto Moves to control Water Resources.

I would love to see stories about a healthy planet, non-poisonous food and truth in labeling.

That old horse is getting really tired...just think that ONE decision by corporate America and Monsanto controlled FDA and it might all be over..

What a strange thread. If you aren't interested in a topic just avoid it.

While I think that is a fine suggestion, doesn't excuse the wider markets behavior or the govt agencies.

Well, technically they are correct - but I doubt in the exact way they intended.

Chemical substance From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Chemical" redirects here. For other uses, see Chemical (disambiguation).

Steam and liquid water are two different forms of the same chemical substance, water. In chemistry, a chemical substance is a form of matter that has constant chemical composition and characteristic properties.[1] It cannot be separated into components by physical separation methods, i.e. without breaking chemical bonds. They can be solids, liquids or gases.

Chemical substances are often called 'pure' to set them apart from mixtures. A common example of a chemical substance is pure water; it has the same properties and the same ratio of hydrogen to oxygen whether it is isolated from a river or made in a laboratory. Other chemical substances commonly encountered in pure form are diamond (carbon), gold, table salt (sodium chloride) and refined sugar (sucrose). However, simple or seemingly pure substances found in nature can in fact be mixtures of chemical substances. For example, tap water may contain small amounts of dissolved sodium chloride and compounds containing iron, calcium and many other chemical substances.

Chemical substances exist as solids, liquids, gases, or plasma and may change between these phases of matter with changes in temperature or pressure. Chemical reactions convert one chemical substance into another.

Somehow I find it real difficult to believe 2,D-4, assorted DIOXINS and round-up are needed for life and that without them life as we know it would cease..

Umm, This is elementary science. Do you think someone who can read or write didn't know this? OK.
