I was wondering if anyone knows where you can get Deja Shoes? I bought a pair of hiking boots and sandals in 1999 but have seen or heard of them anymore. I just washed my hiking boots today ( in the machine) and they look good as new minus wear and tear from the salt from the Midwest roughing them up a bit. My sandalsI have no idea what I did with those but they were tough too. These shoes were made of either natural fiber like hemp and recycled tires for the sole of the shoe.

Amazon.com: deja shows
Thanks but I read that article on the company going defunct and possible company that may have them but wrong type of shoes referenced. I even checked AMZ but neither has the right shoes or any information on where to buy them. I was hoping... just maybe they would be sold online now.

The "orginal" Deja shoes they made seem to never fall apart or wear out as I said I just machine washed (regular load, not gentle cycle) the hiking boots, hung them outside in that 90 degree sun for two days and they look gently used and I bought them at least 13 years ago.
