See Post #321, it failed....

From that article:

The rejection of Proposition 37, a deeply flawed ballot initiative, shows that an informed electorate can make wise choices about food policy. In the face of a propaganda campaign that relied on junk science and scare tactics, 53 percent of voters said no to Prop 37.
Of course you and I both know George that the 53% were all paid by Monsanto to vote against it <wink><wink>

Isn't Monsanto just Satan spelled backwards - or something like that?

Pay no attention to the toxins and health issues in our food.

How many more countries will ban GMOs and how many more health problems are we willing to overlook before we rid ourselves of GMOs?

One more voice heard from.

I can already hear the naysayers and stock holders of GMO life destroying corporations say--KAISER PERMANENTE ARE SOCUALISTS, DEMOCRATS, ANTI-AMERICAN BIG BUSNIESS and possibly even SATAN INCARNATE--SO WE MUST IGNORE THEIR SIDE OF THE CONVERSATION.

Yeah, that copper sulfate, rotenone & a whole host of other "natural" toxins are the main reasons I stay away from organic foods.

Why does the anti-GM crowd have to resort to manipulative underhandedness and trickery like this? The anti-GM crowd wonders why no-one believes them, here's more concrete accredited scientific proof of the BS they try to put over on people...

EU sides with Monsanto in 'GMO Cancer Corn' word war

Published: 05 October, 2012, 17:02

Quote:
The European Food Safety Authority has rejected a controversial study by French scientists linking GM corn to cancer. Many in Europe are already calling for stricter controls on GMOs, as farmers weigh the lucrative crops against health concerns.

The "design, reporting and analysis of the study … are inadequate," the EFSA said in its review, concluding that it could not "regard the authors' conclusions as scientifically sound."

The EFSA took issue with the type of rat used in the study, specifically the albino Sprague-Dawley strain of rat. Sprague-Dawley rats have a tendency to develop cancers naturally over the course of their two-year life span, which was also the duration of the study.

"This means the observed frequency of tumors is influenced by the natural incidence of tumors typical of this strain, regardless of any treatment. This is neither taken into account nor discussed by the authors," the EFSA said.

Of course the anti-GM crowd will dismiss this report saying that the EFSA is a paid shill of Monsanto....

So why do the anti-GMO wackos try so hard to make it look like this is something new and unique?
