A victory of intelligence over fear, HR-933 (Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2013) which amongst many other things effectively bars federal courts from being able to halt the sale or planting of GMO or GE crops and seeds was signed into law by obama......

Full Text of H.R. 933: Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2013 - GovTrack.us

Of course the anti-GMO gaggle is protesting saying "GMO's need more studies"....

Guess the good folks of HAITI did not get the HR-933 memo?

In a remarkable display of protest and challenge by oppressed people against ever-expanding imperialist domination, 10,000 Haitian farmers gathered to burn over 400 tons of ‘aid’ seeds donated by the US-based multinational corporation, Monsanto.

How could the good people of Haiti peer into the future and know HR-933 was going to be signed into law?

Are the Haitians that scientifically advanced?

Another ancient article, was posted back in January 2011......

Moderator cut: off topic

Looks to me like it was more a protest against "imperialist domination" than a protest against Monsanto.....

If one actually reads the article (which you have proven over and over that you never do) near the end it has this:

Quote:
For Haiti and elsewhere, there is no magic cure to poverty. Monsanto’s GMO seeds won’t change the fact the Haiti has and continues to be exploited by imperialism. Rather, so-called ‘aid’ and ‘development’ provided by imperialists more accurately reflect expanding the relationship and means of exploitation.
Moderator cut: inflammatory, personal attack

zthatz, have you found the sources I asked for earlier (Post #464) to back up your statement?

I'm very interested in reading them, the studies that were done, the metrics used etc...

Wonder why 90% of the world has demanded GMO labeling and just as many are rejecting GMO produce?

World's GMO Crop Fields Could Cover the US 1.5 Times Over

Quote:
Despite persisting concerns over genetically modified crops, a new industry report (PDF) shows that GMO farming is taking off around the world. In 2012, GMO crops grew on about 420 million acres of land in 28 countries worldwide, a record high according to the International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-biotech Applications, an industry trade group.
.
.
Nonetheless, by ISAAA's count, developing countries show no signs of slowing their adoption GMO crop technologies. In 2012 they surpassed industrial countries in their share of the world's GMO crops, the group reports.

But another Monsanto financed document?

It does not matter who publishes the data, the truth is obvious. With the passing of time, more countries are banning GMO material, more people are demanding labeling, and more farmers (outside the monopoly in the USA) are rejecting GMO crops / seeds.

What does it take to convince people EATING round-up is toxic? Than corporations like Monsato, Bayer and others are makers of INSECTICIDES and NOT food?

^ total BS ^

Compositional analysis has always shown the genetically modified plants to fall within the range of established values. The equivalence in digestible energy and crude protein between isogenic and transformed plants expressing a wide range of modifications (insect resistance, herbicide tolerance, or the barnase/barstar system of sterility/fertility restoration genes) also has been clearly demonstrated in different species. In none of these experiments was animal performance, whether measured as growth rate, feed efficiency and carcass merit in beef cattle, egg mass in laying hens, milk production, composition and quality in dairy cows or digestibility in rabbits, affected by feeding transformed plants compared to animals fed control or isogenic plants.
