Fabric Softeners. Certain fabric softeners present a better environmental profile than others. For more rapid biodegradation, consider using softeners with one of the following hydrophobe-hydrophile (i.e., water attracting-water repelling) linkages: amides, carboxylic esters, acid chlorides, peroxides, or Schiff bases.3 Betaine esters, for example, spontaneously hydrolyze in water and are derived from natural sources; traditional quaternary ammonium compounds, in contrast, persist as toxicants in the environment.
Please, someone point out in the above where it says fabric softeners are toxic to human beings, thanks.

Oh, and I did see a blog that has EPA in it's name:

http://blog.epa.gov/blog/2010/01/fragrances/

But we adults know a blog is not an official mouthpiece of an organization....

I went to wikipedia and found their page on fabric softener and searched for "toxic" within the document, the search failed.

Why should or would anybody point anything out to you at all - you're obviously not going to agree with anything presented to you.

Why is it some people refuse to admit their bodies have reactions to certain things that the vast majority of human beings don't? Just what is the big deal?

I am extremely allergic to the smoke put out by Lionel train engines, one whiff and I start sneezing and break out in hives.

Do I go around saying Lionel train engines are bad for everyone else's health and well being?

Last time I looked C-D is here for debating topics, the Green Living forum is no different, unless someone can show me where it states in the TOS that debate of subjects is not allowed in the Green Living forum only posts agreeing with the OP are allowed.

I don't see fabric softener nor is it listed on the web page.

I appreciate every post I see in Green Living that helps people when the help is based on FACT, not FUD.

I'm still waiting for FACTS to be posted rather than FUD.

If I may, what have you contributed to this discussion outside of criticism of what I present on the subject?

Nope. Bleach mixed with acetone makes chloroform (chloromethanes). Bleach and ammonia make chloramines and hydrazine. You learn this in about 11th grade.
