Claustrophobia is quite common, but even without it, I like elbow room. That's why my wife and I are still in our 3,000 sf home despite being empty nesters. Generally, the lights we have on are limited to the room we are in, the real issue is heating, so we close off the vents in the 3 "guest" rooms.

The great thing about tiny homes is, you can get two for less than the price of an average size home. That way the wifey can keep one as clean as she wants. Come on, think, guys.

I don't think there is any way I could live in 186SQFT. That comes out smaller than a 14x14 room, but I would also need a kitchen, bathroom, and shower in there. No thanks.
