Quality of living, to me, is being at home enjoying your home rather than somewhere else paying for it.

Is there a stat about how quickly homicide rates would go up when women on their periods were stuffed into a 180 square foot room with a man who wont do the dishes?
Or what happens on taco night when the air inside reaches maximum methane absorption potential..

I hadn't thought of that one.

Claustrophobia is quite common, but even without it, I like elbow room. That's why my wife and I are still in our 3,000 sf home despite being empty nesters. Generally, the lights we have on are limited to the room we are in, the real issue is heating, so we close off the vents in the 3 "guest" rooms.

The great thing about tiny homes is, you can get two for less than the price of an average size home. That way the wifey can keep one as clean as she wants. Come on, think, guys.

The tiny home can liberate men as the bicycle once liberated women.

I don't think there is any way I could live in 186SQFT. That comes out smaller than a 14x14 room, but I would also need a kitchen, bathroom, and shower in there. No thanks.

Not for me.

I like my space.

That is part of the reason I have not even considered selling my house, even with my kids at college and moving on with their lives.

I like space.
